The American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support Provider Course is generally geared towards Health Care Providers. This Course trains students to quickly recognize an emergency in the In-Hospital setting, as well as the Out-of-Hospital setting. This course is a combination of video trainings, as well as interactive hands-on learning. The hands-on skills learned during this course include but are not limited to: Activation of the emergency response system, compressions, delivery of appropriate ventilations, and use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
